ON Sunday, September 20th, 1998,  I competed in and completed the 10th Anniversary Silver State Classic Challenge. This is a 90 mile Open Road Race held on State Hwy 318 between Ely and Las Vegas.  I was in the 115 MPH Class with a Tech Speed of 165 MPH.  My average speed was 115.966 MPH with a certified top speed of 140 MPH, this is at an elevation of @ 5600'.  I ended up third in my class and got a very nice trophy. 

What I would like to do is get some of you competition minded SyTy folks to compete in Open Road Race events.
